Final view, incidently my daughter loved it.

More dragon piccies, with sequin trim.

Here are the views of the origami card. The pictures are made from an old calendar I recycled on dragons.

Its my daughter's 16th birthday today and I have made her a boxed origami card and you will note the box is decorated with a dragon.

This is a watercolour I have done recently that has special significance for me. I have an interest in geneology and also attend a weekly art class. The topic was for an urban landscape, I found a picture of North Street, Leatherhead, Surrey 1906. My great grandfather had a bootmaking business in North Street at the turn of the last century.

The water colour by making a watercolour background using a few colours wet into wet and dropped salt onto the paper (accounts for the blotches) allowing the paper to throughly dry. I then drew the image using sepia pens, then went in with touchs of watercolour to enhance the image and finally white gouche, again used sparingly. Finally I bought a frame and a double mount to complete the picture.

80th birthday card

This image is of a card I made for my Mum's 80th birthday. Its A4 size and is made up of a combination of Anna Griffin paper, various trimming and K&Co punchouts, enhanced with glitter. I also used a stick on dragon fly, again K&Co

I aim to place a gallery of various items I have made on this blog in the next few weeks, so watch this space.
